The Moon Shadow accommodations include Apollo’s Lair, a 2 bedroom, 1 bath home; Aphrodite’s Cottage, a 1 bedroom, 1 bath cottage; and Athena’s Haven, a studio loft with bath.

A unique feature at Moon Shadow is the availability of the property for private events like weddings, family reunions, catered dinners, group retreats for yoga afficionados, bird watchers, artists, writers, etc. – PLUS the occasional option of utilizing the owner’s newly built, stunningly appointed 2 bedroom/2 bath home for your event or group as well.

You can gather your own organic eggs for breakfast from the resident chickens, as well as help yourselves to the owner’s vegetable and flower garden for seasonal produce and decoration. Walk around the property and enjoy not only the natural beauty (including a seasonal creek and waterfall), but Ernie’s unique sculptures made from salvaged materials. Enjoy croquet, badminton and horseshoes, with a putting green to come!

All of the accommodations are tastefully and charmingly appointed with a collection of antique and country style furnishings, including local art work. All have fully equipped kitchens.

Apollo’s Lair – 2 bedrooms, each with kings (one Cal, one Eastern), , 1 bathroom with tub/shower, wood stove $350/night

Aphrodite’s Cottage – 1 bedroom with full bed, queen sized sofa bed, 1 bathroom with tub/shower $250/night

Athena’s Haven – Studio (open living/bedroom) with queen bed, twin sofa chairs, bathroom with shower $175/night

Rates based on double occupancy in each unit, additional guests $35 per person per night per unit. Maximum occupancy for all units totals 14 adults.

Units will not be booked to separate groups, so all units must be reserved during the high season (May through October).

POLICIES
Children are welcome by prior arrangement. No pets. No smoking on the property. There are animals (wild and domesticated) on the property.
