Clara’s Country House has been custom-built in the architectural style of General Vallejo’s home in a fantastic private setting. Native oaks, redwoods and madrones surround the property. Cool lawn, mature citrus trees, expansive broad verandas, and a beautiful in-ground pool and spa surrounded by a large patio maximize your enjoyment of the beautiful Sonoma Valley climate and vistas.

With 4 generously sized bedrooms, offering maximum flexibility in sleeping arrangements, and 6 (!) bathrooms, this fantastic two story home can more than comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests.

Antique and period furnishings and decor add to the charm and ambience of the home with every necessary modern amenity available.

Downstairs, you will find a large foyer, flanked by a family room on one side and formal living & dining room on the other. The expansive gourmet kitchen adjoins the family room. Bow and bay windows, a wood stove and fireplace and two full bathrooms, both with showers, are downstairs as well.

Up the dramatic staircase you will find the bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom:
• The master with king sized bed, sitting area and a door out to the balcony, bow windows, walk-in closet, attached “bonus” room for additional sleeping area, and bath with double sinks and shower with seating area.
• The suite with gas fireplace, king bed, sofa bed and an attached screened porch.
• The cozy, serene green bedroom with queen sized bed and full bath featuring carrera and jade green marble.
• The fourth bedroom with king sized bed, attached bath, walk-in closet and door to the balcony.

The barn will soon be outfitted as a game room and has decks on both sides of the building.

RATES
$1,500 per night for a 3-4 night stay (minimum 3 nights required)
$1,200 per night for a 5-6 night stay
$1,000 per night for a 7+ night stay
The above rates are based on occupancy of 8 guests. Additional guests, up to the maximum of 12 total, can be accommodated at $50 per person per night.

POLICIES
Children are welcome by prior arrangement. A refundable $750 security deposit will be required, with signed liability release form prior to arrival. No smoking.
